  2. Hi, Debbie! Merry Christmas, and may your coming New Year be as blessed as ever! My name is Joann, and I am 44 years old. I live in the United States, and I have the Ashton Drake "Just As God Made Them" anatomically correct "Katie" newborn girl doll by master doll artist Linda Webb. "Katie" is twin sister to "Charlie," who is an anatomically correct boy. She is also about 22 inches long, and she weighs about 4 and a half to 5 pounds. I am thinking about having my "Katie" doll reborned sometime this coming summer, and I've found a reborn doll artist from the United States who is willing to do it for me. However, I really want that new "Leah" half torso kit (just the body and the limbs, not the head) for my "Katie" doll, since "Katie" is 22 inches and "Leah" is about 23 inches, and I was just wondering: Since a cloth upper body and 3/4 size arms are used with this torso, would it be possible for my reborn doll artist friend to use "Katie's" head in place of the "Leah" head? Please let me know so I can pass this info on to my reborn doll artist friend. Thanks! (I am referring to the new "Leah" kit by Cathy Rowland, the one whose twin brother is "Logan.")

  3. Hi Joann! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too!
I am afraid that due to the way that the Katie head attaches, it won't work with the Leah limbs and body. Because Katie is all vinyl, her head attaches different than the kit dolls do. Unless your reborn artist is very creative and can come up with a method to attach her head, it just won't work. :( I am sorry. The size would be a fine match, it's just that the head won't attach.
    Hugs~
