1201 posts

Today is the last day of 2013.

Here's to a glorious 2014!!!

I noticed before I posted that this would be post #1201 since I began this blog.

I don't know why that caught my eye, or why I needed to post about it, it just did and I just did.

2103 went by SO fast.

Seems like it was just yesterday that I was doing taxes and here it is, time to think about them and begin doing them again.  This is the one thing I dislike about ending a year and starting a new one.

I do not have a lot of live shows on the agenda for 2014.
If I get enough registrants, I will be in Portland, OR over Valentines weekend doing a
"Create a Baby" stand where girls can assemble a sweet baby with my assistance.

I'll be at Sauder Village in Ohio July 31-August 3rd doing a two day class and two day show.

The rest of the time, I have a lot of silicone kits and vinyl kits I will be offering while I focus on home repairs/improvements for 2014.

And working and riding my horses.

It IS the Year of the Horse you know  :)

Happy New Years to you all!

eBay and I are not getting along!

To start my day yesterday, eBay sent out an email stating that if you earn less than $5
in eBay Bucks for the quarter, they will not pay it.  You have to earn more (ie:  spend more) in order to be rewarded.

I usually only earn a few bucks but I was always delighted when I could apply those few bucks to a purchase.  Harruph!

Then, I desired to have a reserve on my Preston and Prescilla auctions.
The fee for that (which is new by the way) was $15.50 per auction!
So, I just raised the start price to the least amount that I will accept for these babies and went from there.  Of course, this usually hinders bidding until the end of the auction.  So be it.

Lastly, I had succeeded in scheduling Prescilla's auction to start at 8:05 pm, then clicked
"sell similar item" to build Preston's auction.  I was sure to check the start time and clicked
"Schedule start time at 8:20 pm" and proceeded to finish the final details of the auction.
When I hit "submit", the auction went live at 4:22 pm!  I quickly tried to change it to a scheduled time but it would not let me so, I just let it run and went back and started hers.

Be sure to take a peek please!  I'd love it if these babies had a lot of looking activity  :)

On a very happy note, I received a lovely eBay message from a very young lady (age 12) in New Zealand.  She was a breath of fresh air!
She simply stopped by to compliment me on the dolls and the video, stating that she only has an eBay account so that she can look at and watch dolls.  So very different from the messages I usually get from young gals.  Her parents have done well and she is a fine young lady of character.

I love when my gifts are for my dolls!

We had a very nice Christmas, and I hope you all did too  :)

Matthew is the proud owner of a custom-made riding halter for his horse.
My husband had this made for us.  What an awesome guy!

My youngest step-daughter thought this colorful caterpillar would make a wonderful prop and
plaything for my dolls.  I love it!

Our Christmas was quieter this year with the kids mostly visiting the other sides of their families but we did get to spend Christmas morning with both local grandsons and their parents  :)

Bring on 2014...the year of the horse!

It was the night before Christmas....Video is released!

Twin silicone "Preston's" by Rachelle Ferrell were ready for adoption by Christmas.
Why did I not make them available to go under some lucky mommy's tree?

The answer is in my story video!

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Ready for Christmas!

There is a delay in getting Prescilla and Preston listed for tomorrow.
The custom outfits did not arrive in time.
BUT...it's okay.  I will list them on Sunday.

I will release their video tonight at 9pm PST.  :)

We are all ready to celebrate at our house.

Norman is even playing his drum.
May you truly be blessed by the gift of His eternal love.

Merry Christmas!

Waiting for outfits...

I am so anxiously awaiting the mail to arrive today so I can finish the photo shoot of the twin Preston's!

Here are some pictures I took yesterday.

I will be releasing their video on Christmas Eve and hope to have the auctions start at their
"Birth time" on Christmas day~just slightly after noon.

Have a wonderuful "eve before Christmas Eve"!

Note to self...

When working with silicone dolls and festive settings,
it is not a good idea to use decorations with glitter on them!

I'll be cleaning these two up and take some photo's today  :)

Enjoy the Sunday before Christmas!

Sharing my collection Friday~Merry Christmas from us all!

All of the babies are ready to celebrate Christmas and the winter season!

I'm afraid I'm a bit short on time so I won't tell who each doll is, just the group the doll is in.
Enjoy the group pictures and the close ups of some of the dolls.
