Making mohair...

Mohair will be ready to ship and available from my ArtFire shop on Thursday!

The email list will go out as well as a blog post here.

And since I am finishing up the mohair and I'll have three afternoons available for other projects, and since I don't like to work with silicone that way (and I've got two to start) I am going to make up three Create a Babies...Created!, just in time for Christmas!

Here is a sample of one of them I made a while back:

I am happy to be able to offer these this time of year!

Merry Christmas Season!!

  1. I apologize as my comment is not related to this post but I couldn't find another way to contact you. I was wondering if you have any advice for reducing shine on a Masterpiece doll? I have several (the regular vinyl and the silicone vinyl with the soft body) and their arms are a bit shiny. I would really appreciate any advice you can offer. Thank you! :)

    1. Hi there!
No worries. I have a few different posts about using air dry matte products on my blog. There is a search bar below the topics on the right of the page. Type in "Applying Air Dry Matte Products". There is one post that has a YouTube video in it that will walk you right through it! Be sure to wash your doll parts in warm, soapy water (Dawn Dishsoap works well), rinse and dry before you apply the product.
Let me know how it turns out and please do not hesitate to ask more questions :)
