MOST amazing head of rooted hair!

I was going to post the progress pictures for the Prototype Sweet Stuff today but I ran into this reborn on ebay from Precious Little Babies.

If this is not the most perfectly rooted hair, I just don't know what is!

I was able to get my own little auction up today too....but wow, it does not compare at all to the doll above! And my auction is for a unique holiday decorating reborn!

I received a blog award from a fellow artist blogger. Thank you Dessa Rae!

Here is Dessa's blog site:

This blog is filled with fun loving stuff and creative and amazing dolls!

The rules are as follows:

(1) Thank the person giving the awards
(2) Copy awards to your blog
(3) Place a link to their blog.
(4) Name 7 things people don't know about you.
(5) Nominate 7 bloggers
(6)Place a link to those bloggers
(7) Leave a comment on their blogs letting them know of their awards

So here goes:

I love Brooke Nicole's blog, most of the time. Right now she has some stuff going on but when she does not, I love watching her ethnic babies come to life, I like seeing what new outfits she has dug up to buy and I am interested in the new camera hunts she goes on. She is a professional photographer so watching her work with the photography is very interesting and sometimes educational to me.

Ethnic Cuddles is another blog I love to visit. She is a newer artist and rising up to the top very fast.

Sweet Stuff Prototype has arrived!

And I am in love!

This sculpt is just beautiful! Marita Winters did an amazing job sculpting her and the producing company maintained very nice details in the sculpt.

I will start the reborn process on this dainty little darling today~ I am SO excited!

Thank you Marita for asking me to reborn this adorable kit! I am simply honored.

I am dreaming of snow!

I live in Eastern Oregon and I am SOOOO ready for the snow!

So far, we have not had much so I am having to live through my old pictures.

Giovanni and Carrie Lynn are ready for the snow too~they can't wait to make more snow angels.

They are calling for snow today but so far, it's pretty sunny. Snow today would be good as today is our Festival of Trees and Twilight parade. Nothing would top the day's events off better than snow!

Have a great Saturday!

Matthew has a girlfriend! Friday Funnies~

Please meet Miss Tamara Donofrio. She joined the nursery collection 3 years after Mr. Matthew Ross did.

She is a feisty little lady with a love for cowgirl clothes and horses.

Of course those traits caught Matthew's attention!
He quickly fell in "love".

The little man has everything a cowboy could ever want....spurs (which he rarely takes off!), chaps, hats, boots, belts, jeans, jackets, a wooden horse, a real horse, a real saddle and now...a beautiful little cowgirl!

Have a fabulous Friday!

Nursery Notes!

Wow! So much is going on in the nursery right now!

The most exciting thing is that Marita Winters received the prototypes for Sweet Stuff today so mine will be in the mail to me tomorrow! This baby is not for IDEX but to list on eBay for the world to see Marita's beautiful sculpting ability.

While I wait for Sweet Stuff, I have finished painting a special little project...a unique little idea that came out from Doll Dreams not long ago.

It's a "shadow box or picture" baby! I was not sure what to think of the idea at first but I totally love it now!

The baby is flat on the back and is sculpted only down to the hip torso. There are no legs and the right arm is meant to be glued into position but I am going to do something different with it making it pose able. :)

The baby can have many themes and fits in a large, wide shadow box. I am not fully done with the baby yet but I could not wait to show it off.

IDEX baby #5 has about half of her hair. I had to start over on her as what I rooted first was just too thin. This is taking extra time.

IDEX baby #6 is on the painting table and MIGHT be fully painted by the end of tomorrow.

And I got another kit that I would love to paint up as an AA baby and take to IDEX but I am not sure I can get it done. Time will tell.

So things are moving along. I have been processing mohair in my "spare" time Hahahahaha.

Have a great Wednesday!

Sweet Rilee is ready for Christmas

Rilee used to be my darling Autumn Angel that was looking for a home. Well, she is still looking for a home but, she is now ready for Christmas! She looks just darling in her Will'Beth dress and pantie set.

She can be purchased or put on layaway from ArtFire. I am offering free shipping as my gift to her new mommy.
