~sigh~ Jenny Gannon again. Scammer Update

Today I would much rather share how touched I am that two of Bonnie Chyle's sweet sisters have visited the blog and commented on the post I shared about Bonnie's passing but...

Jenny Gannon (AKA Jenny Singleton) is at it again and you know how passionate I am about keeping the dolly world a clean and safe place for all of us.

Type Jenny Gannon in the search bar of my blog to bring up previous posts about Jenny.

Jenny has been quite quiet for a while (read that three times fast! LOL) but she's has been active on Facebook over the weekend changing her ID's. It's pretty easy to detect that it is her. Her grammar is horrible and her spelling atrocious.

The names that Jenny created over the weekend are these:

Jenny Tyler ~see HERE on Facebook~
Gem Lewis

Both of those ID's have been turned in and removed from Facebook but I don't think it will be long before she shows up with another ID name and she could used those names in other avenues such as websites and on doll forums.
(Edited on February 17, 2016 as I found the Jenny Tyler ID back on Facebook plus these two:)

Jenny Singleton

Jenny Gannon

Jenny just recently opened up this ID on Ebay, darkcreepysouls.

She had a shop on Etsy but it has been shut down.

She simply does not learn or quit.

Please if any of you know of any other ID's that you have detected Jenny Gannon under, feel free to comment~I will keep your contributions private and will not post anything about you here.

Keeping the dolly world pure,
Debbie

  4. Jenny sounds like English is not her first language. Are we sure she's not a foreign scammer on top of everything else?

    1. No, I don't think she is a foreign scammer. I've seen her hands on YouTube and have heard her voice. She speaks very good English :)

    1. I feel like you do , in drawing bad practice and ripoffs in the ''rocking horse'' world.. ok, people collect old ones, but there are alarming fakes appearing, and also horses that are over 60% brand new.
      [new legs, jaws, ears, rockers]
There are roguish practices that go on, and as long as buyers NEVER pay by ''friends and family'' on Paypal, and use Paypal ''goods and services'' they should be safe.
      A credit card also protects.
Also..NEVER EVER do ''Bank Transfer''....it gives zero protection.
      Shocking goings on.
I have been threatened with ''legal action'' too :)
For ''Defamation of [a dealer's] character..''
But one cannot bring a defamation case if something is TRUE.
Always bring bad practice to the fore.
      Well done!

    2. Thank you for chiming in! It is heart breaking that there are any avenues where people try to scam others. But there are a lot of us who do business the right way and for this, we can celebrate!
      Merry Christmas!

  6. There is a lot of bitchery in any collecting world, sadly, as there are too many people after the ''best'' in any category.
Therefore the novice buyer is at particular risk, the see something offered that they deem to be ''a must have'' and will agree to almost any terms ''oh please sell me her''...as they almost force cash into a dodgy sellers' bank account.
I bought an item from overseas, and the seller wanted a bank transfer.
My bank actually took me into a private room to warn me that bank transfers were without any protection, and suggested I obtain a credit card which at least had some guarantees with it.
I went ahead with the bank transfer, and was lucky- my item arrived safely, but it was an £800 item plus postage...so a bit of a sweat waiting for it to arrive!
Have since heard of someone who lost £4,000 in a bank transfer for a ''rare'' item.. the dealer is still dealing, but as buyer and seller live half a world away, taking legal action is almost impossible.
There are good sellers, and these know that reputation is all.
    The scammers don't care.
They know that there will always be the desperate, the hopeful, who will willingly transfer money for a much desired item that may not even exist.
In every area of collecting there are bad sellers.
They love the novice buyers more than anything...
    Very sad.
Anyway, Happy Christmas to you too :)
    Catherine
