It was a beautiful winter day here in Eastern Oregon. We have had new inches of snow every day since before Christmas. We decided to take a little Sunday Drive today and Michael got to go along.
He was sitting in the back seat so quietly when he yelped out~MOMMY LOOK! Here is what he saw:
We drove a bit further into the woods and ended up in a parking lot that was quite full. Michael quickly hopped out of the car and ran to the edge of the lot...he was soooo amazed to see....ELK!
"WOW MOMMY AND DADDY! DID YU SEE DOSE ANTWERS! DAY WAS HUGE!
We knew that they did horse drawn wagon rides into this elk feeding grounds. WOW! You can get right up to the elk!
After Michael's infatuation with the huge elk, he just HAD to see how deep the snow was!
We had one wet little boy but Mommy is very wise and brought him some warm clothes to change into. He took a nap on the road trip home.
