Eagerly anticipating February 15th!

It won't be long now...in just two days I will decide on a new name for the "Budget Babies" line from TNGUN and complete the drawing for the prize! Remember, those who's names I simply liked were put into the "pot". A name will be drawn at random and the winner will receive either a baby outfit/item or 1/2 oz TNGUN mohair~winners choice.

Today I will work on mohair and finish painting the Arianna custom order. She just makes me smile when I enter the nursery.

I've received news that my new silicone "Lauren" by Jorja Pigott is rooted and waiting for brows and final touches! Oh how exciting to think of a new baby coming home! I don't think I'll ever tire of creating babies or of waiting for a new one to add to my collection.

Have a very blessed Sunday!

Sharing my collection Friday! Sammie's new outfit

Isn't that JUST adorable???

Every year at IDEX, the ladies who attend from Doll Fan have a baby shower. We love this gathering and always come home with something wonderful for our babies. One of the outfits in my gift was this top and leggings from Gymboree. I had just been to the Gymboree website the week before IDEX and loved that set! I thought it would be perfect for Sammie. I chose not to purchase it though as I thought it best to save the $$ for IDEX.

I remembered that the hat had been on sale so when I returned home, I checked the website and sure enough...I was able to purchase the hat and socks on sale! Outfit complete. Baby....adorable!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Custom Arianna is blushed

I hope her "Mommy" is just as delighted with her as I am!

I've a few little details to add when I am back to work on Sunday, but basically, her color is complete.

I'm taking today off to go with hubby to the city for his yearly doctor appointments.

Have a great end of the week!

PALE skin tone

I am working on a custom order Arianna by Reva Schick. My customer requested very pale skin tone as she herself is very pale.

I pulled this picture off the internet for reference:

(Isn't he just CUTE?!?!?! I love his sticky-up hair and sticky-out ears!)

Here is where I am so far with this sweet little girl. Today I will begin blushing and then decide if I need to neutralize some of the pale.

Ugh, blurry picture but here are her little piggies so far:

This is a new skin tone to master for me. I am having a grand time creating it and learning :)

Should SIRK purchase RDK????

I am sorry...there are just some things in life that cause my jaw to drop open and this is one of them:

(Posted on Emma Castle~AKA Cindy Kohlscheen's~facebook page)

Should SIRK purchase RDK's website and make it a reborn selling website? RDK is no longer able to do this, and it was offered to us.

RDK is no longer able to do what? Why would anybody buy a website that has a horrible reputation? (Of course I KNOW that these two sites are run by the same person, Cindy Kohlscheen)

There were several comments to that post but they have all been deleted. I notice a LOT of deleting on "Emma's" page, especially those that question the integrity of RDK, SIRK and Cindy Kohlscheen. One comment in particular that was removed was calling out that all payments to SIRK AND RKD go to one Kevin Kohlscheen.

Evidently, the "Poll" weighed in favor of SIRK purchasing RKD:

~Announcement of the Opening of a new reborn selling site~

Notice this comment from "Emma":

Emma Castle Dear Ms. Cathy: Payments did go to that account as the website buttons were not all changed in the beginning...we feel NO need to explain, as quite frankly, it is none of your business! I'm sorry, I did tell you as well that I did not want to continue down that path, and yet you continue... I'm sorry, but have no choice but to unfriend you hun. No room here for your kind of "friendship". Best wishes, Emma

That comment was in direct reply to the question of payment to SIRK and RDK going to one person, Kevin Kohlscheen.

Looks like RDK is gearing up...sortof:

~Announcement page on RDK Site~

This should be interesting. Again people, please be on your guard.

Oh, did you notice that Jenny Gannon is a friend of "Emma's" and questioned "Emma" a little bit about "Emma" being Cindy and kits arriving late? LOL

Oh dear.

Josiah is back on eBay~RARE baby boy!

Doesn't he look good with his hair re-styled? I am very pleased with his auction however, so far, he has not found his mommy just yet. The auction ends Thursday night so wish him luck!

I am very excited about the new name for the Budget Babies to be announced next week, especially since I will have a baby in that category ready for adoption! :)

In the meantime, I am working on a custom ordered, fair skinned Arianna and processing mohair.

Stop by tomorrow...I have some news to share about Simply Irresistible Reborn Kits (SIRK)!

Hugs
Debbie

How about a Sunday giggle?

As I was admiring my new adoption, Tommy, while in Orlando, I thought to myself, "Hmmm, I don't believe I have a blonde hair, blue eyed boy in the nursery".

Upon returning home, Michael informed me loud and clear that I surely do!
Well it was time to introduce Tommy to all of his siblings. But Michael really butted in and took the spotlight:

Tommy saw him coming and was bit concerned, after all, Michael has a TON of energy and he frequently finds himself in trouble....

Michael is an "in-your-face" kindof baby and well, Tommy~not so much! He has a personal bubble:

But Tommy had no defense in regards to over-zealous Michael so his only option was to relax, at least a little bit. Michael seems to adore Tommy!

Tommy is truly amazing! He was created by Melissa McCrory. Melissa McCrory is the leader in silicone innovations! Tommy is hollow-cast silicone. He is lightweight yet balanced and has full legs that are string jointed giving him lot's of posing ability. He can sit on his own and stand (with support). See, he is showing off his little leggies!

AND...he has a built in partial chest so that shirts that are too big in the neck won't matter...in fact, they will show off just how cute he is! That chest also allows his head to move so easily. LOOK at that beautiful face!

Awe, I love Tommy...and Michael who will always be living at home!
